Breguet took another significant step in preserving arts and culture worldwide with the sponsorship of “Precision and Splendor: Clocks and Watches at The Frick Collection.” in New York. This striking exhibition allowed visitors an extraordinary and privileged insight into the evolution of style and techniques of horology. Amongst elaborate dials and splendid craftwork, the exhibition highlighted three historic timepieces by Abraham-Louis Breguet and his son Louis-Antoine—a double dial desk clock, a gold tourbillon pocket watch, and a gilt-bronze carriage clock.
