In Kyoto, Breguet presents its new Tourbillon on the occasion of its 220th anniversary

On June 26, 1801, Abraham-Louis Breguet patented a new type of regulator called "Tourbillon". To celebrate the 220th anniversary of this innovation, but also the launch of the tribute piece "Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Anniversaire 5365", Breguet organized an event  on October 28 and 29 in Kyoto.

Maison Breguet invited VIP clients and the press to the Kiyomizu-dera temple, a UNESCO world heritage site with a history dating back more than 1,200 years. On site, visitors were able to attend a speech by the monk and Sub Steward of the temple M. Eigen Onishi on the theme of time and life, as well as a very exclusive tour of the site, several areas of which are closed to the public. Lionel a Marca, CEO of Breguet, also expressed in a video his joy at being able to hold this event in Japan to celebrate a complication created by the brand, the Tourbillon. Guests had the opportunity to discover the new "Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Anniversaire 5365" timepiece, produced in a limited edition of 35 pieces, as well as an array of Tourbillon models from the brand's current and past collections.  The event celebrating tradition ended with an authentic dance performed by Geishas.
