On Saturday November 9, 2019 the Only Watch auction took place in Geneva, the major international charity project organized by the Monegasque Association against Muscular dystrophy. For the occasion Breguet reissued a unique version of its Type 20 pilot chronograph from the fifties in a form very faithful to the original, both aesthetically and mechanically. It sold for the spectacular price of 210’000 CHF, initially estimated between 35’000 CHF and 50’000 CHF. Taking place every two years, the proceeds of the watches sold at Only Watch go directly to research projects all around the world; to develop the science and get closer to a therapeutic solution for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
